The collaboration focused on delivering a brand-new trailer enhancement, featuring an additional bespoke made and galvanized layer. The upgrade was designed to enable the Cleveland Scout Water Sport team to safely transport a greater volume of equipment in one journey, improving efficiency and opening new opportunities for activity delivery beyond their main site.
The trailer was designed inhouse by a member of the Water Sport team who is a skilled fabricator. Once the design was complete, the team needed a galvanizing specialist to provide a durable, longlasting finish suitable for demanding outdoor use. After a quick Google search, they found GalvanizeUK – and the partnership quickly took shape.
Although the fabrication stage took longer than originally planned, GalvanizeUK ensured the final process was seamless once the trailer section was ready. The team organised collection, completed the galvanizing process promptly and delivered the finished piece back, ready for use.
